Project Extended to May31, 2013! The alternative pop/rock band Color It Red was formed in 1989 after a teen film inspired three schoolmates, mainly vocalist Cooky Chua, then keyboardist Maricar Florendo and rhythm guitarist Barbi Cristi-Paraguya.
Lirio Salvador, artist and Elemento band mainman, was a victim of motorcycle hit-and-run last Dec. 30, in front of his gallery in Dasmarinas, Cavite. He is in critical condition with skull and shoulder fracture and needs financial help.

HULING BIYAHE is about two aging couple who work in the Filipino film industry, a linear editor (Noel Trinidad) and an ex-dubber (Tessie Tomas), who, at the twilight of their lives, decide to part ways to know what's missing in their lives. It stars the actors from the defunt 80s gag show "Champoy" such as Noel Trinidad, Tessie Tomas, Mitch Valdes, Gary Lising, Ronnie Lazaro, Joel Torre, and Jun Urbano. It is our tribute to these fabulous comedians and also to the post production people of our yesteryears.

It not just chronicles the music that I have created over the years but also the sounds and styles that have come and gone in the electronic music world as well.

We are just about done and we would like to ask for your financial assistance so that we can cover the CD replication and production, along with the printing. PROJECT: Charlie Clown LOGLINE : ‘in a big city…everyone is a victim” STATEmENT OF PURPOSE In this project, I want to try to capture a portion of a superhero’s life and project it as close as I can to reality. With inspirations from several movies and comics tweaked with realism, my goal is to come up with something in between “Sin City”, “Watchmen” and “Training Day”. I intend to shoot this in strong contrasting black and white with a lot of play in light and shadows. I want to be able to create a world not so far from anyone’s world. A lie not so far from the truth. A two-sided metaphor inside-out. Besides, I have always believed that “fiction is a reality in disguise”. Even though the number of real-life superheroes rises all around the globe, I’m basing this film in pure assumption. For every superhero or just plain hero is a close-product of significant events of given circumstances presented by a certain demographic. A first world country would have a different kind of superhero than a third world country. Though both would have a common aspiration. Supply would always depend on the demand. Every profession we embark to always starts with passion. But as we all know, passion like fire diminishes as time goes by when it becomes routine… an obligation. In this short film, I want to portray this dilemma in the characters of the superhero and a well-decorated law enforcer as they confront years of dedication in doing the same thing, seeing the same thing, hearing the same thing, feeling the same thing over and over again in the same corrupted place.

Veronica is an actress acclaimed abroad for an international film she did a few years ago. However, her life back home is not exactly lustrous as she struggles to keep up with the competition from younger and more famous actresses. Film offers have become few to none. She cannot believe she has to endure once again the same hardship she experienced when she was just starting. In principles, she maintains that she no longer the “struggling actress” she once was who could just take any role. “Im not just for cameos anymore, Im way past that stage,” she insists. She is always gunning for the lead. However, reality slaps her everytime when the roles she so aspired and brilliantly auditioned for do not fall into her lap in the end. She maintains that although she needs to strive hard to get more acting work to get back on track and redeem her loved ones, she wants even more to prove to everyone in the business that she has more talents in her that she could offer against the odds of the ridiculous commercial standard of local film industry. Veronica says there isnt any other job she can do. Acting is the only profession she knows she is good at, and that her high art is her only fortune. She always reflects that acting makes her happy despite her sorry existence. This is where she escapes from them all.
